Rules / Code of Conduct
At The Grove, we’re committed to creating a welcoming, competitive, and respectful environment for every player, guest, spectator, employee, and member. Everyone who enters our facility is expected to follow the standards below and help us protect the experience for the whole community.
Respect for Others
All guests are expected to treat others with respect, courtesy, and sportsmanship at all times. This includes fellow players, spectators, staff, coaches, guests, and members.
The following behavior is not permitted:
- Yelling, cursing, threatening, or speaking to others in an aggressive or intimidating manner
- Harassing, bullying, or disrespectful behavior toward any guest, member, employee, or player
- Unsportsmanlike conduct, including repeated arguments, excessive profanity, or disruptive behavior
- Any behavior that makes others feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or unwelcome
No Smoking or Vaping
The Grove is a smoke-free and vape-free facility. Smoking, vaping, or the use of any tobacco or nicotine products is not permitted anywhere inside the building, including courts, lounges, bathrooms, locker rooms, retail areas, and common spaces.
Guests who wish to smoke or vape must do so outside and away from facility entrances.
Facility Etiquette
All guests are expected to help maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment. Please:
- Respect court times, reservations, and posted schedules
- Keep personal belongings in designated areas
- Clean up after yourself
- Follow staff instructions
- Use appropriate language and volume while inside the facility
- Be mindful that The Grove is a shared space for players of all levels and backgrounds
Staff Authority
The Grove staff reserves the right to address any behavior that violates these rules or disrupts the experience of others. Guests may be asked to stop certain behavior, leave the facility, or refrain from returning if necessary.
Enforcement
Failure to follow The Grove Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following actions:
- Verbal warning
- Removal from the facility
- Suspension of booking, event, league, or open play privileges
- Membership suspension or cancellation
- Permanent ban from the facility
The Grove reserves the right to take action at its discretion in order to protect the safety, comfort, and experience of our guests, members, and staff.
Our Standard
The Grove exists to bring people together through pickleball, community, and competition. Play hard, be kind, respect the space, and help us keep The Grove welcoming for everyone.
