Our most requested add-on. Two Grove pros run the whole event so your group just shows up and plays, and bigger groups can add more pros. Want to go all out? We will build your group its own tournament website with a live bracket that also runs on the TVs around the facility, and replay cameras on every court let guests download their games after.

What kinds of private events can The Grove host?

Can beginners participate?
Yes. We can create a beginner friendly format with simple instruction, guided rotations, and social games so every guest feels comfortable joining in.
How many guests can attend?
The Grove can accommodate events with up to 400 guests. We will customize the court plan and event flow around your date, location, and group size.
How customizable is a private event?
Nearly everything. We can adjust the venue, court count, schedule, instruction, rotations, competitive formats, and space for conversation.
Can we choose between Downtown and Design District?
Yes. Design District is our flagship with its own parking lot and works best for groups of 40 and up. Downtown gives smaller groups the whole venue, including showers and lockers. Share your preference in the inquiry and we will confirm the best fit for your date.
How long is a private event?
Private events have a two hour minimum. Our team will help you shape the timing around play, instruction, and social time.
Can your pros run the event?
Yes, and it is our most popular add-on. Two Grove pros handle check-in, court assignments, the round robin or bracket, scores and the game clock, plus a quick beginner clinic at the start. Larger groups can add more pros.
What is included?
Demo paddles and balls for every guest, private courts for your group, and an hour of setup time. You control the music.
Can we bring food or add catering?
Yes. Bring your own food, or we can add catering from partners like Eatzi's, Cane Rosso, Mendocino Farms and Chick-fil-A right to your invoice.
How do I get started?
Complete the event inquiry form and a member of The Grove team will follow up by email or phone within 1 business day. Once your details are set, we send an invoice and a payment link. Full payment up front locks in your date.
